About RenderSnap
Ad tags fail quietly.
We make that visible.
RenderSnap validates VAST tags and audits the creative behind them — then keeps checking, so the day a tag stops serving is the day you hear about it, not the week after.
Why this exists
Video ad delivery has an unusual failure mode: almost nothing tells you when it breaks. A wrapper times out, a media file moves, a CDN drops a CORS header, an origin starts redirecting — and the tag simply returns nothing. No exception, no alert, no ticket. Just a slot that stopped filling.
Server-side ad insertion makes it quieter still. When a stitcher fetches the creative and cannot condition it, the ad is dropped from the pod with no client-side error to catch, because there is no client-side VAST call at all.
The free inspectors everyone uses are browser tools: paste one tag, squint at the log, repeat. That works once. It does not work for a campaign launch, it cannot run in CI, and it tells you nothing tomorrow.
What we believe
Silent failure is the enemy
A tag that stops serving does not raise an error. It just quietly stops earning, and you find out from a fill-rate report days later. Everything we build exists to shorten that gap.
Probe, don't just parse
Checking that a document is well-formed is the easy half. We download every media file and inspect it — codec, bitrate, resolution, audio, whether the origin answers at all — because that is where ads actually fail.
Silence is a feature
An alerting tool that cries wolf gets muted, and a muted tool is worse than none. We diff structural health, not creative rotation, so an email from us means something actually changed.
Your tags, your data
We do not sell your data or use your tags to train models. Validation reports are private until you choose to share one, and a shared link can be revoked at any time.
